Our New Home

Ryan and I are very blessed to have our new apartment.  I have posted pictures/descriptions of our new home below (you can click on the pictures to make them bigger), but I thought I would start with the family pics first...

Now to the home.  Here is our front door:



This is the first picture that you see when you walk through the door.  We want our family and friends to know who the center and first and foremost person is in our home:

Here are a few pictures of our living room (all the chairs were for the party).  The bouquet next to the pictures of Ryan and I was actually my wedding bouquet that my mother-in-law made for me.  We love the green and purple (had to get used to it first though):



Here is our dining room (we have a lace tablecloth with a potted plant that goes on the table, but for the party we had Cinco de Mayo decorations).  The paintings on the wall were actually created by Ryan's cousin, Rachelle.  They're so beautiful.  The masks we bought from Disney World a few years back and they were handcrafted in Kenya:

As most of you know, Ryan and I are very BIG Baltimore Ravens fans so we had to have a Ravens Hall of Fame wall of course:

This is our bathroom.  I LOVE dolphins as you can tell:

Here are pictures of our study/office (my desk is on the left and Ryan's is on the right).  Ryan is a sword collector and I feel very well protected:



And last, but not least our bedroom.  I love the calm lilac color that we chose and the stencils at the top.  It's so calm, especially with the fountain on Ryan's dresser.  Yes, that's a big lion on our bed.  It's actually Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia and yes, that's a dragon on our refrigerator.  The medieval theme is well placed in our home:
