I love my mother-in-law and last night was girls-night-in while our boys went to the Baltimore Ravens game. We had dinner together, had girl chat and then headed back home to watch the game. We were ready for the Ravens game and of course we won: 48-17! The Ravens Rock!
Mom is working on some crafts for church for the little ones and so I helped her make samples while we watched the game. Here are pics of us working hard...
We can't show all of the cute animals, because it's supposed to be a surprise, but here is one of the "Pinecone Turkey" that I helped to make. Isn't he cute?
There's a funny story about the "Pinecone Penguin". We had to spray paint him black so we went out into the garage and painted him. Well, we were just gone for a second so I had my shoes off and both Mom and I left our cell phones in the house. We tried to get back in and we locked ourselves out. It was already dark so we walked across the street to use a friends phone, to call Ryan's aunt, to come drive over and let us in. It was very embarrasing, but one of those Mom-Daughter memories that we will never forget.
I love my mother-in-law and feel so very blessed that we're so close. I love our girl time together.
