Ryan and I went to Mt. Aetna (in Hagerstown, MD) last weekend. Oh my goodness-it was sooo beautiful! The autumn colors were so bright and vibrant!
When we first arrived we walked around the Camp and down to the lake. Unfortunately, I was getting stuck by little spurs. Ouch! On our way back to the cabin we saw two deer run through the forest. I loved that, especially since they're my favorite animals (and dolphins).
Our time there was nice. It was so relaxing and quiet. There was no traffic, horns, yelling... I loved spending quiet time with Ryan and the parents and Christ. I spent time in the morning on the porch reading my Bible and hearing the birds sing and rooster crow. How nice! I realize that I keep using that word: nice.
