Saturday Afternoon Activities

Ryan and I spent yesterday afternoon with Mom & Dad and our friends the Lunsfords.  We had such a great time.

I love the children (Taylor and Javen).  They are so adorable.

These are some of the buildings that were made with plants.  We were very impressed.  The Supreme Court (some guy tried to convince me that this was the Library of Congress.  I became a little frustrated, but tried to be patient).

Here's my fav President.  Love this Lincoln Memorial.

A little reindeer...

We then went to a exhibit that was completely made of ice...

There was a slide made of ice and I was really trying to make up my mind if I should go, but then decided, hey why not.  This was the process of me coming down...

We then walked through the New York exhibit...

They closed with the Christmas story and the nativity.  Very beautiful!

And of course we had to stop by to see the penguins (not real, unfortunately).

Very nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon.  We did come home and make some hot apple cider seeing that the ice exhibit was about 10 degrees.  You know it's cold when they pass out parkas before you walk in.
