We were watching Orioles baseball this evening and Ryan began talking with me and Mom about a play that was just made--like I knew; I do now! Ryan continues to amaze me. We watch sports and Ryan talks as though he's a sports broadcaster. It's not just football, baseball, basketball, NO, he includes soccer (sorry, football), lacrosse, field hockey, rugby, croquet, cricket, curling, bowling, etc.
Mom and I never knew anything about sports. I mean my Daddy and Uncle Squirrel took us fishing all the time and we had to know all about casting a line, which rods to use, bait, etc., but that was it. Ryan comes into the picture and I have a whole new respect for sports. I stand in awe on how much he knows. I also have to stand in awe on how much he has taught my mother. She was watching an AFL game with Ryan tonight and the two of them are talking back to the TV describing the flags on the play and the odd replays. MY MOM EVEN TOLD ME THE DATE OF THE NFL DRAFT THIS WEEK!!! Wow!
My Ryan is so incredibly amazing! He makes everyone feel so comfortable in learning new things and always supports them if they want to learn more. Sigh (with twinkles in my eyes)......
