Highland Day 2013

Ryan and I volunteered for Highland Day on Saturday which is a community event for Howard County, Maryland.  Ryan was in charge of the music equipment and song playlist.  He developed a playlist with enough Christian songs to where no song would be repeated for 11 1/2 hours.  Ryan always impresses me.

The day was filled with different activities and it was nice being able to spend the day with friends though it was really difficult seeing how hot it was.  I believe it reached to the upper 80's yesterday and we were pretty much out in the sun all day.  Both Ryan and I left with a sunburn.  Needless to say we drank a lot of water.  I just have one word...OCTOBER.  What's wrong with this picture???

I have to say my favorite exhibit/area was the petting zoo.  I fell in love with one of the rabbits and the llama was so cute.  I was able to give him a hug...he put his head on my shoulder!  So adorable!
