For Ryan's birthday, my Mom gave him tickets to go see Gaelic Storm, a favorite Irish group of ours. It was pretty neat, because we were right in front of the stage. For those of you who may not have heard of them, they were also in the movie
Titanic. If you remember the scene where Rose and Jack go to the bottom of the boat, where she learns to dance for the first time after the fancy dinner, Gaelic Storm is the band that's playing in the center of the room.
Here is the theatre we went to and a few pictures of Patrick, the lead singer. His facial expressions while he's singing is hilarious. Sorry all the pictures are pretty dark, maybe if you click on them you can see them better.

This is Pete, the expert at all the different Irish instruments, mainly pipes (bagpipes, flutes, etc.)

Next up is Steve, the guitar player and other lead singer.

Here are pictures of the fiddle player and the drummer. The drummer, Ryan, actually has two Ph.D.s in Drumming, one for playing with sticks and the other for playing with his hands.

Finally, here are pictures of me and Ryan with the members of the group after the concert. I included a picture of my shirt that I wore that all the members signed. Pretty cool!
